LA MODE Fashion Meets Art brings leading creatives together at Chichester Cathedral for a celebration of fashion, visual art and culture
Fashion and visual art will take centre stage in the United Kingdom as LA MODE: Fashion Meets Art prepares to transform the historic Chichester Cathedral in West Sussex into a showcase of creativity, culture and innovation on 31 July 2026.
The event, organised by La Mode Group and La Mode Magazine, will bring together designers, artists, photographers and creative professionals for a unique celebration of artistic expression.
LA MODE Fashion Meets Art exhibition is designed to highlight the connection between fashion and fine art while creating a platform for emerging and established creatives to engage with collectors, industry leaders, media representatives and the public.
According to Sandra Odige, CEO of La Mode Group and Publisher of La Mode Magazine, the event will feature a blend of fashion presentations, contemporary art displays, live performances and networking opportunities within one of the UK’s most recognised heritage venues.
“Designed to celebrate artistic expression across disciplines, LA MODE: Fashion Meets Art offers a platform for emerging and established creatives to connect with collectors, industry professionals, media, and members of the public in one of the UK’s most iconic heritage venues,” Odige said.
She added that guests would experience a carefully curated programme celebrating the relationship between design, storytelling and creativity.
The visual artists participating in the event include Chidozie Maduka, Mavic Chijoke Okeugo, Ibrahim Kareem, Anita Aleto, Ololade Oletubo, Vincent Okafor, Olusegun Balogun, Susan Kola, April Asemota and Okechukwu Obi.
Fashion designers set to showcase their work include Ella Lux, La Mode Fashion Design Brand, Vixteau Couture, Adenrele Couture, Radu Clothings, Ruthz Designs, Modi Atelier, Alare, Boriah Couture and House of Mimi.
The celebration will provide a meeting point for fashion enthusiasts, collectors, designers, photographers, stylists and cultural observers interested in exploring the evolving relationship between clothing, art and identity.
By bringing together different creative disciplines in a historic setting, LA MODE: Fashion Meets Art aims to demonstrate the power of collaboration and the growing influence of African and global creative talents on the international cultural scene.
