As families gathered in colourful splendour to mark Eid, Maltina joined thousands in honouring tradition, unity, and the enduring pride of the region.

The Durbar Festival, held annually during Eid festivities, remains one of Nigeria’s most breathtaking cultural events. It is a living expression of Northern nobility, where the Emir’s grand procession, graceful horsemen, and jubilant parades converge to showcase dignity, history, and belonging.

This year, Maltina brought more than just refreshment to the streets of Zaria. It brought joy. From children playing games at the Maltina experience zones to elders sharing cold bottles under the northern sun, the drink flowed where laughter thrived.

The brand created spaces where people reconnected, bonded, and built memories rooted in love and pride.

“Durbar is a celebration of heritage, community and togetherness, values we hold dear at Maltina,” said Sandra Amachree, Head of Marketing Communications, Nigerian Breweries Plc.

“As a brand that has refreshed generations of Nigerians, we are proud to be part of this vibrant tradition, not just by observing it, but by contributing to the spirit of unity and refreshment that brings families, communities, and cultures together.”

Maltina’s presence reaffirmed its status not just as a household favourite, but as a true companion of Nigerian tradition.

While Durbar 2025 marked yet another memorable chapter in cultural history, it also stood as a powerful reminder that shared happiness, rooted in cultural pride, remains timeless.
