The wife of Jason Njoku shared her message on Instagram, where she reflected on how society often begins to dictate how individuals should live once they achieve a level of visibility or financial success.

She noted that people can be pressured into spending beyond their means in a bid to match expectations created by others.

Mary Njoku warned that many of those who encourage extravagant lifestyles may not stand by individuals when challenges arise.

She explained that support can quickly fade when situations change, leaving people to deal with consequences alone.

According to her, individuals should avoid allowing others to dictate their choices or turn their lives into a performance for public approval.

She stressed that real success should be rooted in stability rather than appearances designed to impress others.

The actress further advised against what she described as “performing success,” urging people to prioritise long-term security over temporary validation.

She noted that many people who influence others do so from a distance, without bearing the consequences of the decisions they encourage.

Mary Njoku also encouraged self-prioritisation, urging individuals to take responsibility for their own happiness instead of outsourcing it to others.
