Spyro explained that the encounter took place at a nightclub, but clarified that his partner was not there to party. According to the singer, she was working at the venue at the time, which initially drew his attention and sparked his curiosity.

The “Who’s Your Guy” crooner said that while there was nothing wrong with clubbing, it was her presence in a working capacity that made him notice her in a different light. He noted that this observation eventually led him to initiate a conversation.

“I met my partner working in the club, not partying in the club,” Spyro said. He added that what began as curiosity gradually developed into friendship before evolving into a deeper connection.

Spyro admitted that at the early stage, he did not view the relationship as one that would lead to marriage. However, he said his feelings changed over time as he got to know her better and realised she was someone he genuinely wanted in his life.

The singer described the moment of realisation as unexpected but important, noting that he decided to “swing into action” rather than risk losing what had become meaningful to him.
