Nigerian rapper Zlatan Ibile is reportedly married to his longtime partner, Davita Lamai, following a private civil wedding ceremony that was kept away from public attention.

News of the wedding emerged after photos and videos from the intimate event surfaced on social media on May 19, taking many fans by surprise.

The ceremony reportedly remained undisclosed until an event decorator involved in organising the occasion shared images and clips online, revealing details of the celebration.

The decorator, identified on Instagram as @decor_with_dems, described the occasion as a carefully planned and private affair.

“The Private Civil Ceremony of Davita & Zlatan. A beautifully curated moment designed with love and we kept it private, until now. Thanks to the Omoniyis for trusting us,” the decorator wrote.

The reported wedding comes months after Zlatan publicly dismissed claims that Davita was already his wife. In January, the rapper clarified that although Davita is the mother of his child, they were not married at the time.

He also criticised what he described as inaccurate reports about his personal life, stating that he rarely discusses his relationships publicly but felt compelled to address the speculation.

Rumours of a possible wedding intensified in March after Davita updated her Instagram profile to include “Omoniyi”, the rapper’s surname, fuelling discussions among fans about their relationship status.

The emergence of wedding photos and videos has since generated widespread reactions across social media, with fans congratulating the couple and expressing surprise at the discreet nature of the ceremony.
